Who would you rather have as your hometown team\’s GM: Kevin McHale or whoever the Memphis Grizzlies GM is?
Saturday, November 15th, 2008Will the Cleveland Cavaliers ever come close to making the Finals again?
Saturday, October 18th, 2008My heart is with the team (Cavaliers) but my brain and logic tell me to stay away from this team if I don’t want major frustrations in the upcoming seasons. I don’t see the Cavs going anywhere next season for many reasons, but one is the team/GM/President/Owner haven’t shown any signs to improve their team. I haven’t heard of any news Cavs trying to negotiate player contracts, or I doubt they will ever net in a semi-valuable player who contributes day and night out.
And lets see, no draft picks, no new lights. The only good thing I see going for them is Boobie isn’t a rookie anymore. He should bring the intensity he showed during the playoff/final series throughout the next season.
Get rid of Anderson Varejao, moreso since other teams are interested in signing him with unbelievably overpriced contracts. If I were the GM, don’t even bother matching it, just let him go, his hustles don’t cover up for his lack of any offense.
So, how do you guys think the Cavs are going to fare?
Need to Know:
LeBron isn’t getting any younger nor will his legs be any fresher. If he doesn’t brush up on his outside jumpers/decision making skills, his ppg is bound to drop every year. With LeBron aging, I sense the Cavs is drifting farther and farther away from that ring.

Saturday, July 19th, 2008It is rumored Kobe Bryant is demanding with Mitch Kupchak GM of the Laker for a trade to the Atlanta Hawks over the summer and wants out of LA’s sinking ship and wants to move Atlanta because they will be a nba title contender next year.
Also there are reports Kobe wants to leave the NBA to play Major League Baseball for the LA Dodgers.
Why is MJ partying instead of getting the Charlotte Bobcats ready?

Friday, July 4th, 2008What happens if a restricted free agent doesn\’t want to stay?
Sunday, June 8th, 2008For example:
A player is playing for, say, the LA Clippers. He becomes a restricted free agent. The Clippers GM says that he will match any offer sheet, and the Clippers have enough cap space to do that.
What if the player wants to leave, but doesn’t sign an offer sheet because the Clippers will match it?
