Is the Chicago Bulls a team of the future?

With the current line-up and salary cap space, do you think the Chicago Bulls can bring back its glory days, the days of Michael Jordan?

Given who they have, they just need to push for another solid big man, and they’re golden. I don’t know about the Jordan days, but they’ve definitely got talent, and high potential to be a really good team again. Just gotta get that big man.

the only thing holding the bulls back right now is their lack of an inside presence, but with their talent and depth, and a lottery pick, the bulls should be able to trade for that inside presence to complete their team and starting a dynasty.

They will definitely dominate the East for a few years. to compare them to the Jordan Era is a bit extreme, that team was one of the best ever. They have a great backcourt and can use their lottery pick on a big man like Jeff Green to compliment Big Ben.

the only thing the bulls need is a post scorer. they have a post defender in ben wallace, and a perimeter defender in hinrich. offense, ben gordon and luol deng? sounds pretty great to me. they just need to get rid of pj brown, and add like a 17-20ppg scorer at pf, and a little improvement off the bench, they could be as good as the pistons.

its going to be hard. they dont have a player like jordan. someone who will demand double teams and someone who can shut down wing players.
the bulls are balanced offensively but are still short in the post. they need a low post offensive player. unless they make a big deal, they wont ge that player while wallace is in his prime (well decline!!!)
id like to see the team start nocioni for a full season instead of brown to see what exactly happens with someone who can score in the post and the wing.
the bulls need that low post scorer, or they need deng or gordon to become even more devastating offensively to the point they become a consistent 20+ person each night.
if you wanna talk about teams of the future, dont dismiss the hawks. great young talent, a number 3 draft pick…its looking good. if they could only get a solid pg…this team would be playoff material

sure they are look at Ben Gordon and Lou Deng they are both very good players, also you have Ben Wallace - outstanding shot blocker and rebounder, Kirk Hinrich I think they will win it all in a couple of years but Ben Gordon Is amazing.

I think the Bulls do have the potential to be great contenders in the future. I’m a Pistons fan, and they had me a little worried coming into this years playoffs. I think they are maybe one or two players away from a championship. Saying that, you have to consider that they are not the only ones in the league making big moves. There are a couple teams on my potential “worry” list. The bulls are on it along with about 5 other solid teams that are making moves over the off-season. But yes, I can definetly see the Bulls representing the East in the Championship within the next 2 or 3 years. But its going to be tough seeing that the West is getting the next two big draft picks in Oden and Durant. Not to mention the West still holds the powerhouse teams. I hope Joe Dumars has some tricks up his sleeves for the up and coming years.

They got alot of young talent just got to hope no one leaves. Hinrich and Nociano contracts are up……. The real question is the Blazers now that is a young and up coming team.

Sure they will be a better team, but I dont think there would ever be a team as good as the bulls during the Jordan era. However with their current core players(Hinrich, Deng and Gordon) the have the potential to win maybe a couple of championships they just need the low post scorer and get rid of some players such as Sweetney who didnt help the team at all.
